Install Forms free per site. Build in the editor, publish, and review responses in Site OS, your website owner dashboard.
Build the form you need
- Open Editor → Elements → Forms. Choose Contact Form or an empty Form Container, then add fields and a Submit Button.
- Ask for text, email, phone, long answers, dropdown choices, or checkboxes. Add headings and text to explain questions.
- Use one or two columns. Move fields, or copy and paste them after the selected field.
Make questions easier to answer
- Require important answers and check email address formats.
- Use steps for longer forms and conditional questions for relevant follow-ups.
- Edit field labels and appearance in the inspector. Customize the submit label, size, alignment, colors, and corners.
Review responses in one place
- Site OS → Forms has a private inbox per named form, available only to authorized site administrators.
- Review original submitted answers, filter by status, and search currently loaded responses.
- Export all responses as CSV for a spreadsheet. Export protection prevents answers being treated as spreadsheet formulas.
Publish, pause, or return later
- Publish to receive responses with answer checks, spam controls, and submission limits.
- Check collection status and response-history guidance in each form’s Details & settings.
- Uninstalling hides forms and pauses collection, keeping layouts and responses. Reinstalling restores access. Removing a form from a page keeps its history.
Know the current limits
- Email delivery, forwarding, and retries are not available. Responses stay in the Forms inbox.
- File uploads and nested form sections are not included. Next, Back, and progress controls cannot move independently.
- Do not collect passwords or payment-card details.
More form design controls
- Use headings or paragraphs with font, size, weight, alignment, line height, letter spacing, and color controls.
- Move or remove the submit action. Set step labels and progress visibility in Behavior controls.
Optional notification previews
- Previews are off by default. Inspect sample notifications in a local outbox; they never send email.
- Choose up to ten verified owners or administrators already authorized to read the inbox.
- When enabled, each response records one preview containing a sign-in-required inbox link, without the submitted answers.
